COSEBOC Youth Ambassador Corps (CYAC)

COSEBOC Youth Ambassador Corps (CYAC) consists of high school students who have engaged with each other through a structured curriculum intended to guide them on a transformational journey from being a generic group to a purposeful community of social activists. Members of CYAC complete ten units focusing on topics such as defining leadership, leadership self-analysis, teambuilding, identifying social causes, communicating, developing a plan, and mobilizing for action. The CYAC Curriculum is intended for high school students and can be used as an in-school resource for existing or developing leadership classes or as an out-of-school-time resource for community organizations interested in helping young people develop their leadership capacity to make positive contributions to society.
