The COSEBOC STANDARDS: THE UNCOMMON CORE for Schools Educating Boys of Color

COSEBOC Standards, the Uncommon Core (2020) is a research-based tool that provides a strong operational framework for the healthy transformation of schools and community environments necessary for successful learning outcomes for all students, especially boys and young men of color. School teams can use the Standards to identify strengths and areas of improvement in their education of students.

The standards are classified in seven core areas:
