The Excellence and Advancement Foundation, Huston-Tillotson University, the Austin ISD Race Equity Council, and the Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color (COSEBOC) are proud to announce the Austin Regional Gathering — Healing in the Village: Are the Children Well? The Gathering will include a series of events for those in our community who are committed to the belief that the Village is not well if its children are not well. The first event will occur on Friday, January 25, 2019 on the campus of Huston-Tillotson University. Educators, policymakers, community leaders, and those who understand that there must be a true Conspiracy of Care designed to protect and serve the well-being of children, youth, and the community are urged to attend this day-long forum.
