Congratulations to COSEBOC's Kamau Ptah and Brandon Deloatch

Kamau Ptah, Program Design and Facilitation Specialists for COSEBOC’s Sankofa Passages Program (SPP) and four-year SPP mentee Brandon Deloatch were featured panelists at a recent policy briefing on effective policies and practices that can help close the achievement gap, focused on youth ages 12-24.  Hosted by CLASP at NPR Headquarters in Washington D.C., the forum featured a variety of speakers and panel discussions.  Kamau and Brandon were featured in panels on Lifting up Effective Strategies to Influence Policy and Investment and How Youth Leaders Have Overcome Barriers and Achieved Success respectively.  The briefing was co-sponsored by PolicyLink, the National Council of La Raza, the Executive Alliance to Expand Opportunities for Boys and Young Men of Color, and the Institute for Black Male Achievement.
