Announcement: Search for Founding Principal

Dear COSEBOC Friend,

A COSEBOC friend and member, Jack J. Pannell, Jr., Founder, Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys is recruiting an exceptional educator to become the Founding Principal and Instructional Leader of his school, a public charter school. The school opens next July with 4th, 5th and 6th grade boys. Baltimore Collegiate’s mission is to prepare male students for success in college and in life through a traditional liberal arts curriculum in the humanities, math, science and the arts. At full capacity, it will span from grade 4 through grade 12, with an early college high school program beginning in grade 10.

They are seeking a candidate who is experienced, gifted intellectually and passionately interested in the education of urban boys. The Ideal Candidate should be presently engaged in leading a school community and possess a demonstrated record of success in building and sustaining an intellectually rigorous culture of high achievement, success, and support. The Founding Principal will work closely with the Founder and the trustees of the Five Smooth Stones Foundation.
