The goal of this series is to create, deepen and strengthen the capacity of educators and advocates dedicated to the affirmative development of boys and young men of color. We are honored to have Dr. Gloria Ladson Billings as our first presenter. Dr. Ladson-Billings is a national educational treasure and the leading expert on cultural responsive education. She will present a wealth of experience, strategies and tools for every participant on the call dedicated to the affirmative development of boys and young men of color.

On Friday, December 9, 2016 ,COSEBOC and CPLAN will host a Regional Gathering in Boston, MA to focus on "Trauma in the Village." This special workshop - for School Administrators, Leaders and Teachers - was first featured at COSEBOC's 10th Annual Gathering in NYC in May, 2016. The workshop is designed to provide a safe space for members of the Village to share, converse, strategize and render solutions that will aid in the healing process.
This Members-Only Webinar will provide school leaders with an opportunity to explore existing frameworks for thinking about trauma and mental health and to examine our understandings of crisis and it's impact on students.
