Please join us on Monday, June 20 for an important online discussion sponsored by David Johns and the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans and the OnPurpose Movement, as they celebrate the first-ever International Day of Purpose!
According to organizers, this special day was “created to inspire people to celebrate and activate the power of purpose.” The International Day of Purpose will work to inspire cross-generational reflection on the power that lies within our purpose, via carefully designed tools, experiences, and celebrations that lead towards a consistent “OnPurpose” lifestyle.
On the #DayofPurpose, Monday, June 20, 2015 from 12 noon to 1pm EDT, the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans will host an #AfAmEdChat to highlight the importance of and need to #TeachOnPurpose. COSEBOC will be a key voice during the Twitter Chat to underscore critical practices designed to support the learning and development of children and youth.
We hope you will join us as we work to live “OnPurpose” as a united village, especially for boys and young men of color.
