Seasons Greetings Colleagues and Supporters of COSEBOC,
I’m writing to share some good news! It’s been a long time coming but we are finally there.
On December 18th COSEBOC entered into a legal agreement to transfer its Intellectual Property to the “Y of Central Maryland” for integration into their national initiatives for boys and young men of color. As you know, COSEBOC’s founder, Ron Walker retired as executive director. For several months COSEBOC has worked tirelessly to find a national nonprofit with an aligned mission, commitment and national footprint that could take the work to the next level in terms of reach and impact. The future legacy of COSEBOC will be secured in the Y of Central Maryland. COSEBOC as we know it, will soon be dissolved as a nonprofit in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. While a sad reality we are thrilled about the future prospects and potential of “COSEBOC 2.0”
You have played a strategic role in COSEBOC’s life journey. We are forever grateful to you and extend our deep appreciation for your ongoing support, advocacy and collegialism.
