CBMA Hosts Second Cohort Meeting in Detroit for 2016 Black Male Achievement (BMA) Innovators

The Campaign for Black Male Achievement’s Social Innovation Accelerator hosted its second cohort meeting in Detroit for its 2016 Black Male Achievement (BMA) Innovators. Black Male Achievement Innovators are experienced leaders whose organizations demonstrate powerful results in improving the life outcomes of Black men and boys, who pursue high performance, and who are positioned to spread their results and catalyze systemic change.

BMA Innovator Ron Walker, Executive Director, Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color, reflects on his experience during this meeting. COSEBOC is an organization that strives to connect, inspire, support and strengthen school leaders dedicated to the social, emotional and academic development of boys and young men of color.
