COSEBOC offers professional development for school leaders building on the foundation of our Standards and Promising Practices for Schools Educating Boys of Color:
Annual convening of school leaders and their allies for intensive opportunities to share promising practices, current research, policy/advocacy updates, collegiality, challenges and inspiration.
A intensive series of professional development opportunities provided for 25 early learning and elementary school leaders in Mississippi, funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
Workshops to provide groups of educators with a working knowledge of COSEBOC's Standards and Promising Practices for Schools Educating Boys of Color and to help them assess the strengths and gaps in their own schools and analyze the leadership skills and beliefs necessary to implement the Standards in their own school.
Dissemination and posting of resources; facilitated online discussion of resources, inquiries and ideas enables real time technical assistance.
Series of webinars for members led by nationally respected education practitioners and policy-makers providing current information on key topics.
